You need
to experience the journey; whether it is in daily life or reaching for a dream.
My musical journey began as a young boy, barely able to reach my seven year old arm around the harmony guitar. Watching intently
and trying to play along with my family as they sang each Sunday afternoon at my grandparents home. Throughout my school years,
I played in garage bands, playing everything from rock to country. While playing at area clubs, fairs, and festivals, I started
to write more of my own songs.
While in college and playing in the local band “Spy Run,” we got our first airplay on a local radio station. It
was awesome and I was hooked. As more area stations began to feature local talent, several began playing my song “Bottom
of the Bottle.” I recorded this song with my most recent band, “Signature.”
The next step on my musical journey was to record “Destination Open Road,” my first solo CD.
I recorded it at the Bayou Studio in Nashville, TN. It was
my first experience working with professional production. As it starts to get airplay, I’m not sure where it will go.
But it’s my fascination, my destination, open road!
